Synopsis

This show features songs from the pop/ska band Madness, and is named after one of their most popular hits, "Our House". Written by Tim Firth, the script of the musical tells a tale of a love set on the streets of Londn. It follows two possible courses in the life of a young man (Joe Casey), following hid involvement in a petty crime. This romantic comedy begins on the night of Joes' sixteenth birthday - the night he commits a petty tresspassing crime to impress the girl he loves. When the police arrives, Joe has a big decision that can take his life in different directions, stay or run. Our House follows the two courses his life would take if he stays to face the music or runs from the law.
